A few months ago, I saw
your Rhode Island plan, ordered it, and
then built a modified version of it.
The 14' x 18' building It was built on
6"x6" posts with poured footers.
We raised the walls about 12 inches to
allow for a walk-up attic with about 78
inches of clearance in the middle
wonderful storage. Even with the steps,
there is still plenty of room for the
riding lawnmowever. Everyone who has seen
it has thought it was great! I thought I
would share some pictures of it with you.
(This message was duplicated and I sent
the pictures previously in .psf format
which I decided you would probably not be
able to access. So, I resent the
message with the pictures in .jpg.)

Thank you
for providing one of the best and by far the most
informative site on the subject of shed building
bar none.
I would like to talk with someone regarding
altering your plans to feature more overhang
because of our snow load here in Colorado. Having
never built a shed before, I am not sure how
possible it is to add the extra width, we are
looking for.
Best Regards,

This barn
style shed being built on a skid
foundation is the first building Eric has
built. Although he has a way to go yet, we
think through our Customer Service
support, that he has the right approach
and enthusiasm.
The smaller pictures on
the left can be enlarged by clicking on
them. They
show a lot of construction details, nice
workmanship and some of Eric's
adaptations. When it is finished he
will store his 900 lb. riding lawn mower
in it. |

I’ve truly
enjoyed building this shed; it’s
my first structure besides fences
and found your plans appealing,
clear and easy to work with, and I
picked them out from plethora of
different places, including CAD. But
like what was mentioned in the
construction guide, there’s not
enough room or time to list every
detail. I knew that, and when I came
to an area I didn’t understand,
you answered it right away, which
was great! I referred to available
references and asked an experienced
neighbor that explained it while we
were at the shed, which was what I
really needed, and then I was back
on track.
Having a
blast building this shed!
Thanks
again!
Eric

Hi Steve
The overall length of the
ridgepole is mentioned on the material list as
16'0" long and in the guide it says to trim
after. The exact length is not give for 3 reasons.
#1 is that the length can change some what on
buildings of this size, # 2 is it depends on how you
make the lap joint. ( do you but the fascia board to
the side or to the end of the ridge pole) Trimming
it after is easier to do and looks better and # 3 if
it shifts a bit during construction it will be to
short at one end. |

Thanks again. I'm glad I
invested in a set of plans with Just Sheds.
The
support over the last two days is worth the cost
of the plans. |

Hello,
Are you still interested in
pictures of finished sheds?
I have attached two shots of the shed I
built using your plans. Although I only used
them as a guide (I changed some of the
dimensions and the roof pitch slightly), I
found it invaluable to get me started. It
was amazingly good value due to the detail
it gave. I used #1333

THIS
IS THE SHED I BUILT, MODEL 2315.
I
AM PRETTY PROUD OF THE WAY IT TURNED OUT,
AND
HAVE
RECEIVED A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS ON IT. I DO
NOT HAVE THE S.O. # BUT DID PURCHASE THE
PLANS FROM YOU. IF
YOU CHECK YOUR RECORDS I WILL BE IN THEM.
,I
DID ALL
WORK BY MYSELF. IT IS THE FIRST I EVER
BUILT ANYTHING LIKE THIS FROM SCRATCH IT
EVEN HAS A CONCRETE FLOOR, TWO ROOF VENTS
AND TWO GABLE VENTS. IT
HOLDS TWO RIDING MOWERS, ONE PUSH MOWER,
A AERATOR WITH SPRAY TANK, TILLER, DETACHER, AND
A SNOW BLOWER. IT ALSO HOLDS A NUMBER OF
YARD TOOLS THAT HANG IN ON HANGERS MOUNTED
THE WALLS AND HAS A ATTIC FOR ADDITIONAL
STORAGE. WE HAVE 1-1/4 ACRE YARD AND
NEEDED THE
STORAGE SPACE FOR ALL OUR EQUIPMENT.
